Cairokee ft Aida El Ayouby - Ya El Midan

Lyrics:

Ya, ya el Midan (Oh, Tahrir Square)
Where have you been
For so long?
With you we’ve sung
And with you we’ve suffered
And we’ve been praying
And scared

One hand
Day and night
And nothing with you
Is impossible
The sound of freedom
Is gathering us
And our lives
Finally have meaning

No turning back
Our voices are finally heard
And the dream is no longer
Out of our reach

Ya, ya el midan…
Where have you been
All this time?
You’ve destroyed the walls
Let in the light
And gathered around you
A broken people

We’ve been born again
And the dream
Has been reborn
Around and around
And our intentions are pure
Even when the picture wasn’t clear
Honouring our country
And our grandchildren
And the rights that have been stolen
From our youth

Ya, ya el midan…
Where have you been
For so long?
With you we’ve stirred
And we’ve started
After we’d stopped and run away

With our own hands
We’ll change our destiny
You gave us so much
And the rest is up to us

Sometimes I fear
You’ll be a memory
And when we leave you
The idea will die
And we’ll go back to forgetting the past
And telling stories about you

Ya, ya el midan…
Where have you been
For so long?
You’ve got every kind of us
Within you
The brave and the weak
The patriotic and those riding the wave
The loud and the silent

We’ll join together
Drink some tea
For the truth has told us
How to reach it
You’ve let the whole world
Listen to you
And the nieghbours
Join together

Ya, ya el midan…
Where have you been
For so long?
Our ideas are our strength
And our weapon is our unity
The square tells the truth
It refuses the oppressor
The square is like a wave
Some riding it and some being pulled in
And those watching say it’s a craze
And the fates
Are already written

Ya, ya el midan
Where have you been
For so long?

Harel Skaat - Milim

Lyrics :

i can feel again
how it all began
but this is the end
i feel tonight
i closed my eye
a silent cry
to see you in the dim
the dim of light

with my fears
these bloody tears
our burning me inside
but i will sing you one more song
at least, i know that i have tried.

you left me only words,
and in these words i hide
a story that is heard
without you by my side
you left me only words
till they fade away
how i pray to have those words today

this empty room
the feel of gloom
just take it all-
it's all for you
our battle ends
at break of dawn
but what is left for me
when you are gone?

you left me only words,
and in these words i hide
a story that is heard
without you by my side
you left me only words
till they fade away
how i pray to have those words today

you left me only words
and in these words i hide
empty room of stories
without you by my side
you left me only words
till they fade away
how i pray to have those words today

and i get cold as ice
when i'm reminded
of where you are tonight
gleaming in his light
i need you even though
all these words that you left me
are now for him to know

you left me only words,
and in these words i hide
a story that is heard
without you by my side
you left me only words
till they fade away
how i pray to have those words today

you left me only words
till they fade away
how i pray
to have those words today

1st.

Hi, This is my first entry in this blog (that I made for computer subject in my school) and it's the first time I write an entry in English language. I'm quite sure that it will make a lot of grammar mistake ,so please....just ignore some of them. I will try my best :D

I decide to write a blog about history, cartoon and music. I'm not sure that I can mix these three topics well or not but I will try to stay in the main idea of this blog!

Of course, I love to draw. That's why I decide to chose those topics. I also love to read book about history so I try to mix them together. Maybe just one entry about history and another about comic. I don't sure about that. LOL (Maybe it can be my personal diary too!)

Well...However, Nice to meet you all!
